IFA Resource Centre
Research has shown that ignorance is a major factor responsible for the social stigmatization of people living with Autism. In Nigeria, the level of awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is very low. People prefer to attach negative religious sentiments to a behavior that is different from what is socially accepted. IFA Autism Resource Centre was created to promote people’s awareness of Autism in Nigeria. The Resource Centre boasts of a large collection of books, journals and article on a variety of autism issues.
The Resource Centre has an Autism E-library equipped with visual resource materials such as books, audios and videos & Animations. IFA Autism E-library would bridge the gap of space and time often faced by people researching on Autism issues by providing research resources online. Most of the books on the E-library were linked from other library sites and can be read online only
